TERRA SINGAPORE : Carbon compass roving exhibition
Roving Exhibition
What is it:
Creative Direction, Exhibition Design, Branding and Graphic Design, Spatial Design, Fabrication and Build
What we did:
The exhibition showcases a vibrant mini-neighborhood where carbon-light living is the blueprint!
The vibrant town is populated with shophouses, each one representing the everyday places and moments where we have the opportunity to impact carbon. Visitors could explore each shophouse to learn and reflect on how they can create their own unique path to a carbon-light life. Compact, collapsible and highly mobile, the interactive exhibition roved across Singapore to show how our daily decisions are deeply intertwined with our carbon impact.
We landed on the concept of a mini town because the flexible form of shophouses meant that different aspects of the carbon story (commuting, food, waste, shopping, production, energy etc.) could be manifested as different shops.
Our later iterations also included kiosks like:
Clean & Green Apartments - learn how your daily habits at home is tied to your carbon impact and how you can help keep the planet clean and green.
Bank of Tomorrow - designing a future where economic growth and environmental well-being thrive together.
Each exhibition kiosk was thoughtfully designed to be compact and easy to deploy.
Despite their small footprint, they are packed with engaging micro-interactions that inspire visitors to rethink their daily habits.
Little Easter eggs of wisdom and tidbits of knowledge can be found at every corner.
