Commissioned by
A reimagined provision shop where every shelf, every corner, is designed to carry a story.
Inspired by the nostalgic provision shop, this project transformed a space along the Orchard Road pedestrian walkway into a vibrant cultural pit stop. Timed for SG60, the gallery invites commuters and passersby to connect with Singapore’s heritage, community, and shared values.
Curated by Our Grandfather Story, we worked together to bring the Shophouse B.A.R. (Books, Arts, Reflections) to life.
Every detail, from the books that trace Singapore's identity to the familiar objects that spark a moment of recollection, was placed with intention.
Our aim was to make it feel instantly familiar yet wonderfully surprising, proving that even the simplest objects hold an extraordinary, emotional weight when we see them as part of our shared Singapore story.
