An Eco Steward’s Guide to a Greener Future, a Journey Around the Eco Hive

Eco stewardship can often feel like an abstract or overwhelming concept, especially for students. To make it more relatable and engaging, we designed a friendly Bee mascot that serves as the project's central visual identity. Through the simple analogy of a Bee, we lead visitors on a fun and hands-on experience that helps them take their first steps as Eco Stewards.

Visitors can learn how, like tiny bees, their small collective efforts can make them an indispensable steward for our ecosystem, and how big an impact we can make together.

By giving eco stewardship a memorable and approachable character of a bee, the experience encourages visitors to see that meaningful environmental change begins with small actions working together toward a common goal.

The exhibition is designed as an immersive journey through six themed zones, each introducing a key pillar of sustainable living and Singapore's environmental future.

  • Foodtopia - Explore the importance of food security and resilient food systems

  • Power House - Showcases innovations in green energy

  • Waste Works - Highlights the principles of a circular economy

  • Gardenpolis - Outlines how nature parks and urban green spaces support biodiversity and create a more liveable city

  • Bees of the Future - Introduces a diverse range of green careers to inspire the next generation of eco stewards

The journey is anchored by the EcoHive, a reflective space where visitors consolidate what they have learned and make a personal pledge towards eco stewardship.
